The coastal district named after Khan Asparuh – the founder of Bulgaria
Bulgaria Estate offers up-to-date offers for apartments, houses and plots of land in Asparuhovo.
The name of the neighborhood is given in honor of Khan Asparuh – the first Bulgarian ruler who in 681 defeated the Byzantine army and founded Danube Bulgaria. Before receiving its current name, the area was known as „Beyond the Channel“ or „Chelopech“ because of its location south of the Varna Bay. Archaeological findings in the area indicate settlement dating back to antiquity – Roman artifacts, medieval fortifications, and remains of an early Bulgarian settlement have been discovered here.
